Airplane Mashup
If you haven't seen the movie Airplane, then this will make no sense.
If you have seen the movie, this still might not make any sense.
But you bought your ticket, you knew what you were getting into. So I say let 'em crash!

A Public Silly Announcement
Comic Mashup Theater Presents a PSA that really puts the S in your A, Publicly.
Professional Gagsters on a Closed Course. Do not attempt these gags at home, kids.
No clowns were harmed during the mashing up of this comic.
If your giggles continue for more than four hours, sit in a cold bathtub overlooking a beautiful vista.
You're a blog reader! What do you think?

Raw Suet, You Say
An old political cartoon + Dialog from Kate and Leopold 2001 = This Comic Mashup Theater:
"The problem is that for no reason beyond my affection for you I find myself peddling pond scum to an unsuspecting public." - Leopold
Now tell us what you really think!

Obvious Post Title
Obvious Post Introduction.
Obvious Note, this Post includes panels from comics that have been mashed up.
Images follow this text.
End of Images.
Disclaimer: All statements are those things in word bubbles.
All Statements have been self verified for accuracy by the speaker.
----
P.S. One set of words is actually a question, not a statement.
Clearly Captain Obvious can't even follow his own rules, Obviously.

Best Godzilla Scream...
I humbly submit the following for your consideration:
That has got to be the best Godzilla Scream in comics.
You can hear the latex gargantuan in your head!
(Well, if you've ever seen the movies, you can. If you haven't seen the movies, then what is wrong with you?)
Amazing.
----
IDW Publishing announced exclusively to ComicsAlliance that James Stokoe will be both writing and illustrating a new Godzilla miniseries titled Godilla: Half Century War for release this August.

Comic Book Mashup at ECCC
Had a great time at Emerald City Comicon 2012.
There was really nothing I could do to capture the scope of the 3-day event.
So I put together a Comic Book Mashup of the Show:
All the people mentioned above deserve your attention:
Scott Wegener: Atomic Robo (the funnest robot comic in the world).
David Mack: Kabuki, Daredevil, etc. (the best fine artist masquerading as comics).
Dylan Meconis: Family Man. (the best comics about philosophy).
Terry and Rachel Dodson: Defenders, Wonder Woman, everything... (the best husband and wife team at the show.)
Neal Bailey: Cura Te Ipsum. (The best independent comic about alternate dimensions).
Bill Sienkiewicz: New Mutants, etc. (the wildest ink lines in comics).
The Count and Jeff: Frederick the Great (the best powdered wigs at the show).
Paul Guinan & Anina Bennet: Boilerplate, Frank Reade. (most deserving of a movie deal).
Kevin Nowlan: New Defenders (best reaction to a 30 year old comic presented for signature: "Is that one of mine? Oh, it is!)
Matt Fraction: Defenders (best use of Stephen Strange in 20 years).
Bryan J Glass: Mice Templar (best sketch by a writer at the show).
Christopher Hern: Blunderbuss Wanderlust (best use of a gun as a time machine, ever).
Erik Larsen: Savage Dragon (best spelling of Larsen at the show).
Plus Kudos to all the other great people whose names I have forgotten to mention, and eternal shame on the one or two people who were too cranky for their booth (you know who you are).
Thanks to everybody who worked hard and traveled far to put on a great convention.
Thanks to all the Geeks and Fans who showed up to have a great time.
It will take me months to read all the books I got there.
And I am already looking forward to next year.

ECCC is in the books
My own sexy bomber girl kept me company all day as the Emerald City
Comicon 2012 came to a close.
We had a great time. Made lots of new friends. Most of the artists and
writers were friendly and gracious people.
It would probably take a week to write up everything we saw and
everybody we talked to, but if I take a week I'll forget most of it.
I will try to put something coherent together tomorrow. For now I need
to lay down for at least 12 hours straight.
