Emerald City Comicon Mashup of Anticipation

Only a week until Emerald City Comicon 2013 here in Seattle WA.
It's going to be the biggest ECCC ever!
And I'm hoping that will be a good thing.
Because part of the joy of past ECCC's has been the intimate tone and accessibility of the artists and writers.
The Show has spread out to take on the whole Seattle Convention Center.
But tickets are selling out and crowds could be huge.
Let us all prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Seattle Comics Convention News

Jet City Comics Show is in 3-and-a-half weeks, September 24th.
Got my tickets already.  It is a 1 day show held 6 months after/before the bigger Emerald City ComicCon.

Emerald City ComicCon 2012 is going to be March 30-31, April 1st, 2012.
I'm already looking forward to ECCC 2012. 
BILL SIENKIEWICZ is going to be there.  I loved his New Mutants stuff in the 80s and he is still kicking ass today. I had this New Mutants poster on my wall for a long time as a teenager.  And I just read a Black Widow series he worked on not too long ago, great stuff.

Plus, Evelyn should be pumped up, because they just announced that
JOE BENITEZ the creator/writer/artist of Lady Mechanika, Evelyn's favorite new comic series will be there as well.

Good news all around...

Ready For The Sun

Sunshine has arrived in the Seattle Area
Normally reliable coworkers have developed unusual ailments
Who wants to be at work, when you can be in the sun?
Pull out the allergy pills and the sunscreen
Mow that grass
Restring that fishing pole
Sit on the porch
Let the dogs and children run
You only get so many glorious days
