Pillar of the Community

Comic Mashup Theater is proud to present
Forget that mote in your eye.
It's Dick Transom, the Beam in your Private Eye.
He is the Buttress of all the architectural jokes.
But down by the docks, the long shore men know
that no one has a more convex stern than Dick Transom!
Our adventure begins on a dark and stormy night...

Selector Mashup A-Go-Go

Comic Mashup Theater is proud to present
On My Radio
I bought my baby a red radio
He played it all day a-go-go a-go-go
He liked to dance to it down in the streets
He said he loved me but he loved the beat

But when I switch on I rotate the dial
I could see it there driving him so wild
I bought my baby a red radio
He said he loved me but he had to go

It's just the same old show on my radio
On my radio, on my radio, on my radio...

22nd is an Awesome Little Day

September 22nd is just a great day.

It is the Autumnal Equinox when Day and Night live in perfect harmony and equality.

And its the birthday of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins, the most famous Hobbits in the world.

Don't worry, Tim, Hobbits are not terrifying at all.  Unless you are a dragon, a troll, a Dark Lord of Mordor, or a...oh, Heck you're right!  Those little guys are scary.  Happy Birthday, Hobbits.  We Love you tiny people!

Anyway, September 22nd is also the Jet City Comic Show in Seattle.
And LarsenGeekery will be there in Booth E27.
We will have comics, posters, cards, bags, pouches, buttons, shirts, all manner of Geekery for you to amuse yourself with.
And I'm pretty sure there will be no Volcano Demons at the Comic Show.
This message brought to you by Comic Mashup Theater.

Jet City Comic Show is this Saturday

I have been busy getting ready for the Jet City Comic Show this Saturday, Sept 22nd in Seattle Washington.
Shane White did some great promo art for the show.  But what I don't understand is why he put my initials, JL, on the lederhosen of his Nazi Golem monster???
LarsenGeekery will be at Jet City, Booth E27.
Evelyn will have a full set of 3-Dimensional Arts and Crafts: Bags, Totes, Hoodies, Shirts, etc.  Including more variations of the popular Doctor Who TARDIS Bags and Pouches.
And I will have a full set of 2-Dimensional Art: Comic Books, Posters, Prints, and Greeting Cards.
This will be the debut of the new Coffee Hero cards and posters.
So if you will be in the Seattle area this Saturday, come by the show.  It is only $8 at the door.
If you are not in the Seattle area, you can check out our online Store and still get in on all the Geekery Gear Action!!

See you at the show,
-- Jay Larsen

New Super Ordinary, Never Rational

There is a new episode of Super Ordinary Living.
Jump over there and check it out, or you may never find out how I managed to use the words "name him Stormageddon Jellybaby TARDIS Owens the 3rd" in a sentence.  In that order, by the way.

And don't forget: the new LarsenGeekery Cards and Posters will debut at Jet City Comic Show in Seattle on September 22nd.
So that is a Comic Show you could go to.  Hint, Hint!

Coffee Heros

I've been working on a series of Greeting Cards that will eventually combine to make a poster.
The will go on sale at LarsenGeekery's booth at the Jet City Comic Show in Seattle, Sept 22nd.
Coffee and Super Heroes, two great things that go great together, at least in Seattle!

I Think Thanos is going to get away with it...

Rocket Raccoon could have secured the Cosmic Cube if it weren't for people keeping their garbage in unsecured containers!!!  Another victory for Thanos!!!

Just having fun.  Drew this on my iPad.  Not the easiest device to do art on, but was doodling away while watching DNC political speeches on TV.  Thought I would share.
Rocket Raccoon and the Guardians of the Galaxy 2012!!!!  Evolved mammals of the galaxy unite!  And lock those trash cans, damn it!  *-)
--Jay

Got the idea from VindicaSean and Topless Robot. "Rocket Raccoon was going to stop Thanos last week, but he got distracted by someone's trash can not being properly covered."
