I hear you laughing
But know this
Many times the hyena screws up
And the lions take it down
But sometimes the roles reverse
And the hyena takes a lion
I know you are not in Africa
But take this as a warning
Those animals will kick your ass
You feel safely removed
In your thoroughly modern life
Deep down however
An ancient part of you knows
Do you remember forgetting?
But know this
Many times the hyena screws up
And the lions take it down
But sometimes the roles reverse
And the hyena takes a lion
I know you are not in Africa
But take this as a warning
Those animals will kick your ass
You feel safely removed
In your thoroughly modern life
Deep down however
An ancient part of you knows
Do you remember forgetting?
